The Harry Potter Tribute Art Exhibition opened a few days ago at Gallery Nucleus, the same gallery showcasing the Edward Scissor Hands art posted on AnnaLikes a few months ago. The work is a collection of fan art posted on the gallery's Harry Potter blog over the course of two years, and below are my favorites. It's really interesting to see how people see the Harry Potter stories in different ways. I stopped reading the series from the 3rd book and personally looked forward to watching the movies instead, they're visually brilliant and so rich! I'm really excited to watch the last of them tonight, I don't know the ending... no spoilers please :)
If you happen to be in LA you can see over 100 paintings, illustrations and installations at the gallery or visit the Gallery Nucleus website to see the work. The exhibition runs until August 1, 2011.
The gallery will be coming to Australia too but will only be going to Sydney. I might have to make a trip down. It looks amazing! :)
