I have a habit of browsing for furniture and other interior decoration related things, very much influenced from my dad who is an interior designer and every time i find something quirky or unique i share it with him, or add it to my wish list! So here's a collection of selected book shelves that i found very interesting, some of which are created from a simple idea. They work as art installations as well as functional fixtures. I'd imagine modern bookstores would start experimenting more with their shelving, and really transform a consumer's experience.
That collapsing bookshelf is definitely on my wish list!

Hi Anna, I stopped by to visit and say hello. Your blog is the best. I love the ingenuity and artistic creativity that people express. Thanks for researching and collecting all that you do! You have a great eye. You know, you are almost like a Cultural Reporter. You capture snapshots of the diversity that defines our current cultures. Great work, my friend!
ReplyDeleteThose are some really awesome cases. I would be hard pressed to decide which one I like best.
