Take Back More

A few weeks ago someone sent me a video "Dabke in Beirut airport" taken with a phone camera, by a traveler at the Duty Free. It was so amusing to see, and really boosted my mood. Turns out this was an activation done for campaign "Take Back More." Check out the original edit!

The idea of a flashmob is nothing new, but a Dabke flashmob in Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport at a time when the region in in flux is certainly a first. On March 5, 2011, M&C Saatchi and Beirut Duty Free created this vibrant event as part of their "Take Back More" campaign. The aim was to literally created a wonderful memory of Lebanon that passengers could take with them on from their journey.
