Gehry's illusion

Frank Gehry's Beekman tower in New York is close to completion. The building's structural frame is that of reinforced concrete and is draped with a wrinkled stainless steel facade, similar to  many of his works (see Thank You Gehry). The 1.1 million square foot tower will become one the city's tallest buildings and is due to open later this year.
