It's called "Football Type"
I never thought there would be a day when a book, exploring the history
and development of typography in football, would be published. From the
hand-stitched jersey numbers in the 1930's to the custom fonts used by
football clubs today.
Designer Rick Banks and writer Sheridan Bird, thought so many people are
passionate about football and design but there's never been a book
about both, so why not!
Football Type
is a non-profit book with only 1,000 limited edition copies, the
proceeds will go to the UK Charity Football Foundation to improves its
facilities and build communities around England.
