The Lower Depths

Ink is my 2nd favorite medium for illustration, after conte crayon. Check out Nik Christensen's recent work titled "The Lower Depths." They're so full of energy and explosion, its brilliant! He uses brushes and his hands to create these monochromatic ink paintings, inspired from all forms of art, capturing climatic moments in time. Christensen utilizes geometric shapes and forms and allows it to coexist with realistic figures, giving each piece a remarkable surreal scene.
