On my recent visit to Las Vegas, i came across the new Cosmopolitan Hotel close to the City Center project. I didn't understand what the hype was all about but believe me if you happen to go, you must check it out. It's very contemporary as opposed to the majority of the hotels on the strip, all of which have their own charm. This hotel shows us how architecture, modern art and digital technology can work together to create a very unique and engaging experience to visitors.
Created by Digital Kitchen, the animated art in the lobby is made up of 8 columns, which have 12 individual screens on each face. They've combined photography, film, 3D and 2D animation to present several narratives to intrigue viewers. Anthony Vitagliano, executive creative director at Digital Kitchen, explains further in the video.
