This is incredible, a street version of a doll house! Artist Alan Wolfson recently completed this after 18 months of work. This detailed miniature model is called Canal St. Cross-Section, it's a tri-level sculpture that pays homage to one of the most famous streets in New York City, which connects Brooklyn and New Jersey. It's mainly known for it's busy commercial district, and Chinatown. It would be very interesting to see different city streets built this way as well, one on each continent or something, and make it a global project. Click on the images to enlarge and notice the detail in the model, awesome!
