Watching walls

Alexandre Farto, Portuguese artist, also known as Vhils is a super-talented street artist, you've probably stumbled on his work before. Vhils literally scratches off surfaces of buildings using power drills, chisels, and different types of paint to create fascinating portraits. The above is a carved piece of the streets of Moscow Russia. Watch the video to see how he does it.

The Lisbon-based artist recently opened up a solo show titled Detritus at Gallery Presenca in Portugal. The work looks just as good in a gallery as it does on the streets.
