The Dollar Redesign Project, was a campaign earlier in 2010 to promote recreating a whole new look for the Dollar bill, of course there are many limitations and complications when it comes to redesigning a bank note, "But if the Swiss can do it on a regular basis, why can't (we) North Americans too?"
Many graphic designers took part, creating serious design concepts and some humorous light ones as well. It's an interesting project to work on regardless!
These bank notes were designed by Dowling-Duncan, a UK and San Francisco-based graphic design studio.
The winner of this design competition is Kyle R Thompson, see his work below
